          217.4 miles for October
          2497.8 yr to date

After all those hot/humid miles this summer, its taken me a while to recover and to start rebuilding my base again (last two weeks 60 and 66 miles). November will see continued base building and mileage increase (plus a training marathon ).

I thought I already responded to this thread, but now am not seeing it, unless I skimmed too quickly.

Big TSUGOI! for eight boomer PR’s in the Big Mary and tamalina PR’ing one of the hardest racing distances too.   However, I think queenalenie got so many PR’s again like the four or five last October, that she forgot about her 10K one too, or was it two too?

39 unhappy miles in Oct. Hip flexor and lower back problems continue, so no fall racing. On the bright side, our 5K (in the rain on Oct. 24) sold out at 1,000, and our Seacoast Half (next Sunday) sold out in September at 1,200+. Racewalking clinics continue, including one this weekend with two nationally-ranked racewalkers as instructors.

Wow, I've never been magnificently median before!  How cool is that? And to share the podium with Jlynne and Dg is even better. Thanks, Carolyn!!

and I've never been a second place magnificent anything!

I agree about the shared podium ;-).   (thanks Erika Smile )   the opportunites for that are slim & almost none!

Thanks Carolyn for all the effort you put into this!
