6+ yesterday for me. Tonight, someone who shall remain nameless, did 6+ with his shirt on backwards. I'm such a dork.

I had an absolute blast yesterday!! I always say Boston is like Christmas to runners!!

I was so excited to see Jay almost as soon as we were off our volunteer bus - love running in to you my frend!!

My volunteer position is Human Chain 2 which means I stand directly behind the mobility impaired athletes, the wheelchair, handcycle athletes and the elite athletes - we are also directly in front of the Corral 1 runners for every wave!! To say it is the best spot at the start line is an understatement!! Friends were texting me they saw me on TV standing behind one of the Hoyt Team duos!! When our duties in Hopkinton are finished, we head back to Boston and our bus drivers get as close to the finish line as possible. We usually have time for some lunch and then head over to the family meeting area where we wait for our club runners and escort them back to the bus. Our day finishes up with an after party at the restaurant where we hold our monthly meetings. I came home and crashed before my 4;45 wake up call for work. Ready to call it a night now and heading back in for a 6a-6p shift tomorrow. Leaving a little early to go see the documentary Boston - heard there is a good shot of me doing packet stuffing from a previous year!!

Goodnight my friends - I may not be running, but I will not be defeated!!

ps - lab work all looks great, bone density scan scheduled for Thursday

Tonight I ran 9 miles with 4 being at tempo pace around 11mm. Was extremely hard.

            That's wonderful, deezie.

Can we see it too somehow?

            excellent!

However, I don't think it counts unless family or someone calls you one.

I have a lot of extra dorks from over the years I'm trying to get rid of, though.

Unfortunately, batman takes most of them.
