Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

Hi Holly -- yeah -- what is a wave run [too]?
TATER -- nice "w" -- excellent report. Love the mano y mano blow by blow narrative. I am sure that beer tasted especially sweet!

Africa ... what a super person.
Sat -- *8.0 rain
Sun -- ripping cold -- took monday off too

Thanks Holly.
I'm really excited about my HM PR Sunday. For those that don't know I hang out over in the swamp (2000 mile group) and I raced another guy over there. I beat him by 7 seconds and we both ran big PR's. Running a PR is always good but racing another person is an absolute blast. The report is here. I'll warn you that the report is in the swamp and it definitely isn't G rated in there, but the report itself isn't too bad.
Anyhow, I'm a little stiff from Sunday so mostly easy running this week.
Not at it at all.
The report is here. I'll warn you that the report is in the swamp and it definitely isn't G rated in there, but the report itself isn't too bad.
If you enter the swamp stay to the lighted path, some people (not to mention any names but they had a big race recently) .... can be really mean Quite the culture shock from the Masters Forum
A little rule of ettique:
1. Don't Post
2. If you violate rule 1 ... Don't be nice
3. If you violate rule 2 just out of decency .... Don't ever say your Sorry
4. If you have violated all of the above are not allowed to Post anything nice or semi intelligent .... Curse like a drunken sailor
PS -- Great Job MrPHinNJ! you two old %$#@@@ @##$%S give some hope to me (ooops forgot where we were) .... don't ever let anyone tell you that your slow.
Marathon recovery and reverse taper is about done. Ready to see what Tinman has in store for me next.
