Marathon Maniac #957
Interesting that most of you indicated that the crib was your first memory. Mine also, but not a pleasant memory. I remember being awakened in the middle of the night. I was a bedwetter, and my Dad was standing over my crib threatening to hook up an electric cord to the bed so I would be shocked when I had an accident. They wondered why I began stuttering as a child......
Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."
Live like you are dying not like you are afraid to die.

I hammered down the trail, passing rocks and trees like they were standing still.
after work, off to Maine to open the summer cabin. I'll wave at Teresa as I go by. BTW, in the fall, there are always a bunch of people on the highway overpasses waving goodbye to all the tourist. Wonder why I never see any this weekend? Kevin
