    The process is the goal.

    Men heap together the mistakes of their lives, and create a monster they call Destiny.

      Sub-17:30 at 60 years of age.

      As in, sub-17:30.

      M50 at 16:08? Where did these guys grow up? Kenya?

        Doug has run a 1:17 HM at 60 too.

          Couldn't help but notice that Grace Padilla's trainer, Pete Magill from Running Times, both had outstanding times. They created a video about incorporating various hill workouts. The title: 5 Types of Hill Workouts For Maximum Performance. Obviously hill work has helped them with their competetive longevity. I would have some difficulty finding a long hill where I live.

          God, my Lord, is my strength;
          he makes my feet swift as those of hinds
          and enables me to go upon the heights.

          Just a dude.

            Sigh... I had to not run the M40 1500 with my hamstring injury...  I would have been in the fastest race of the day... Winning time was 4:04, and I would have had to run a good sized PR just to not be last.  (Which was 4:45)

            Makes me so excited for next year.

            Getting back in shape... Just need it to be a skinnier shape...
