Total65.5 in 7:56:53 I would say that this is the first real quality week since Houston. Very satisfied with the training. Somewhat of a cut back week upcoming for the 8k race next Sunday…

Tks Holly, 8 weeks till Eugene Marathon This week I traveled to and from the east coast for work. Didn't have a running plan, but wanted to put in a few miles as my body allowed. Walking 10 hrs on a navy ship is hard on the legs. Mon: Travel to Norfolk, VA (due to snow in Seattle only made it to Washington, DC) It was a long day. Tues: Travel to Nofolk and 6 hours on the ship - 7 miles (recovery pace) Wed: 7 miles am (aerobic pace) / 4 miles pm (recovery) Thurs: 7 miles am (aerobic) / 4 miles pm (recovery) Fri: 7 miles am (aerobic) Sat: Travel back to Bremerton Sun: 7 miles with 3 miles Tempo Total: 43 miles

                TonyP - congratulations!

Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

Thanks Holly....and it's because of this thread that I went out and ran 7 miles on Sunday to get my 40 for the week Smile
