Hi Holly -- thanks! Feeling a little tingle on the right achilles ... never had that problem before ... monitor this week and see how we go.

Sat = 5.5 [5 miles then 6 x 75 strides]
Sunday = 3.0 [shortened the miles today b/c I am going to race Monday night]
Total = 42.4 total

Thanks Holly. I'm running a 5 mile race down at the shore on Saturday.

Took a lot of time off to try to relief a tendon on my right leg. I will try it out on Tuesday.

Wow, Rassmussen! Bravo! Neat deal for you. BTW, you and runnerwife were both great at Seattle. Congratulations! I'm dying to know what you are doing in Japan. Is Tet still there? Will you be seeing him?
I'm having good runs in the woods, and on my in- town track. Getting ready for the Scandia race in Junction City with Econo, DD1, and also DD2, in Aug. DD 2 is just starting to run again, since high school, but is the one we call "The Athlete" of the family. She lives in Tacoma. Woods Lady
Holly, here are my totals for this week.
Monday 8 easy
Tuesday 8.7 trial with hills
Thursday 8
Friday 14.2 long
Sunday 8 very easy
Total 46.9 (aahg if I had checked my log this morning I would have added the .1 today and made it an even 47 miles). Oh well it's still my highest weekly average.
BTW will be giving my dd a copy of Dr Who, The Beginning Episodes for her b'day at the end of the month. Can't wait to see it.
Have a good week everyone.
