Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."
Thanks Holly!!!

Hi Holly!
Thanks for the thread, tabulations, & comments. I'm glad that your mileage is coming back up. Slowly but surely you'll be back to full speed. .

Hi Holly
. correction - well, it seem I thought I'd 40/40''ed but, not so fast.
I was thinking I had ten miles in the running commute but it was only five
and the ten was for cycling so no 40/40 that I thought Saturday's
Carkeek 12-hour Run run would produce. t.
However, I've got the Grandpa's Wishbone 27 mile on Friday, 11/25
and the Seattle Marathon on Sunday so, should see you in a month with 53.2 miles, . . . I hope.
Thanks.
PORTLANDIt looks like you got a nice adjustment on this year’s extended 26.7 mile Portland Marathon too. I hope MikeE, Mariposai, Enke and Starr do too.
Very grateful for your impressive long-distance arranging of the Reunion House down there. What a treat to come back from this year’s wettest running to get all fed and warmed up. .x= = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = = =
