              Hello everyone,

              Mon..... rest day ---> done, DOMS

              Tue...... 5K interval --->gosh I was tired and sleepy this morning. Sadly skipped my run thinking I could do it after work. Not! And I know this

              Wed.....rest day because I have to leave at 6h30 AM for an early conference ---> I ran into a colleague who is also a runner and I "accidently" signed up as a back up runner for the Roparun. This is a non-stop relay run from Paris (France) to Rotterdam (Holland) for charity. It's a team effort (8 runners), where each runner runs approx. 65 kilometers in total. Each runner runs 1-2 kilometers at a time.  I only have to run when a runner pulls out for whatever reason. Sometimes I really wonder about my sanity.

              Thu.......8K easy ---> nothing to report. It's my bi-weekly day off and I've been on the couch all day. Absolutely no energy. Tired and sleepy. I finally caved and had a one hour nap just before dinner. I should've done that way earlier. Cause I felt sooooo much better after that.

              Fri.........XT: Plyo ---> nothing to report. Slept in. This is turning into a really bad week.

              Sat.......3K doggie run + 2K easy ---> 3.1K doggie run + 3.5K tempo on the TM. Felt really good!

              Sun......3K doggie run + 1h30 long run ---> 3.1K doggie run + 12.44 very slow kilometers.

              Total mileage: 22.14 kilometers

                      Thanks Leslie!   You are over-the-top amazing, btw.

                       I didn't get in mid week as you can probably tell, but will at least post the totals.

                      This is my first week of my training plan, though it isn't very specific right now.  I took Friday off because I was sick, so not too impressive a start but not bad.

                      Run: 23.5 Mi
                      Bike: 23 minutes
                      strength training : 1.5 hrs.
                      Elliptical: 12 minutes
                      walking: 6.1 Mi,  pooch still happy.

                      Wink   evryday has discovered dark energy,  dutchie has signed up for a crazy cool relay, nono has discovered the secret for BQing (vacation), & Erika is icing while she runs, a whole new level of multi-tasking.  (and Paul just views marathons as long runs now.... )

                      Paul......     how did it go????
