        I generally post my results at week's end, but since some post their plans:

         

        Mon - 7 easy (actual 6.41 @ 9:03 pace)

        Tue - SRD (rested as planned)

        Wed - 7 easy (actual 6.44 @ 8:56 pace)

        Thu - 7 easy (actual 5.29 @ 8:51 pace)

        Fri - 7 easy (USRD - wasn't feeling that great)

        Sat - 2 easy (actual 3.12 @ 8:33 pace)

        Sun - 1st marathon 26.2 (actual 26.2 - 4:19:48)

         

        For the week - 47.46

         

        Easy is my idea of taper, plus lowering my normal 8+ daily runs to around 7 (or could be slightly less). So if all goes according to plan, should have 56 or so this week.

                        Total: 61 miles

                         

                        Heavy rain all day long today. I could run in the rain,

                        maybe. I actually thought about it for like a couple of

                        minutes. I do have this nice waterproof running jacket.

                        Super light. With a hood, too. But then I thought about all those times

                        I got sick after running in the rain. And also I did not

                        want to get my shoes wet.
