          Hey Gordon, I think you put my bike miles as running miles... This is "cutback" week before Carlsbad on Sunday, but I'll still get some runs and XT in... Here's the loose plan as it stands Monday a.m. Monday: XT, 8.12 miles/30 mins on stationary bike Tuesday: 5.25 miles, 4 at MP or MP+:15 to :30; .75 miles walk Wednesday: 3.1 miles of hills, .5 mile walk Thursday: Rest Day (House cleaning for XT) Friday: 2 with some striders (the usual pre-race 2...) Saturday: Travel day (hence the 2 done Friday instead of today) Sunday: 26.2 or thereabouts...

              Gordon, Thanks for the weekly thread. Not sure of the plan for the week, a little recovery, a little running, and maybe some x-training.

                    Thanks Lynden This week I'm pushing up the mid-week a tad and bringing the back-to-backs closer to balance. One hill day and one day with some MP. Monday...........Rest.................0 ..6 push-ups, 2 mile starwalk with DW Tuesday............4...................4 59min XT wu&cd Walk.5 inc. .5 BF 2x5 push-ups Wednesday.......14.................14 w/9 ~MP wu and cd walk, 14.67 on bike Thursday...........4....................0 55min XT I'll do the 4 as a warmup tomorrow, just ran out of time at 40hr/week pace Friday..............XT.................4.25 .25 BF on grass, plus walking but no XT Saturday..........16................20 (8min run/2min walk) switcheroo plus mile total wu/cd walk, 40+ on bike Sunday............20................16 (2 mile run / 1 mile walk) plus .5 walkup 15min elliptical cooldown and some crunches Total....................................58.25

Weekly Plan-- Mon: rest Tue: RUN (lazy) Wed: RUN (lazy) Thur: rest Fri: RUN (lazy) Sat: RUN (5 miles-- done) Sun: x-train (RUN 5 miles-- done) TOTAL: 10 miles running (janie b not-so-good) Not using this as an excuse ('cause I can always run on the indoor track), but these single digit temps are kicking my a$$. Was determined to end the week in double digits-- so FORCED myself to do double fives on Sat/Sun. Now off to watch some football...

                      goodness is its own reward; for more tangible outcomes, you need to try badness.
