Here’s my tentative plan for the week.
Weights and core
Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."
That sucks, Opie. Be smart and give yourself time to recover. You're in it for the long haul.

Very sorry to say it, but I will have to take a break from this thread for a while. Saw the running doc this morning and he thinks I have a stress fracture in the right fibula. I'll be on the bike mostly. I'm a lot less anxious than before the appointment because I was afraid it was a recurrence of sciatica. However, I have to admit that I'm disappointed to let the Swamp pace bunny pass me!

I'm happy to report that I had my first 40 mile week since Jan 6, 2013.

Thanks to a 30-mile weekend, I got in 43 miles this week. I was travelling and hiking in AZ, so I got in only 4 days of running. Only one more 20-miler before my trail marathon in mid-July.
