Loved the movie,as Marj said. Real inside humor for movie buffs..

I'm still on the IR and feeling down about it. My leg felt very painful during my 5K in Naples,Fl. And couldn't run the 8K in Tampa. Saw my primary today and he ordered X-rays and referred me for more PT- I should probably start living there. Hopefully things will improve eventually.

Those are some distrubing bananas, Leslie.

      But, yes, HAppy Birthday, Matt.

Just trying to help get him primed for Bourbon Street.

        2Kitty - - - HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

Love this, and +1 for sure!

I had no energy this morning, so I stopped after 1 mile on the TM and about 25 minutes of weights and core.

Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

Just got back from 4.6 miles nice and easy and overheated in the sunshine. Thought that would get me to 30 for the week so far but I'm obviously math-challenged (29.3). This weekend is supposed to be a little cooler which will probably help the footing a bit. The snow is so frosty it doesn't pack at all and the warm temps make it sort of slippery. Hard to explain... But it's in the low 40's right now and the edges are melting on the roads. Will be a slick drive later tonight!

Holly, those no energy runs are no fun. The good news is, the law of conservation of sproink means tomorrow will be better!

Happy birthday, Twocat!   I have no doubt that you're having a greta time in NO with Mariposai and the Easy Pacer!

I hammered down the trail, passing rocks and trees like they were standing still.

              Hello everybody!

Hey wild--those two snowmen look a lot like cats.  It looks like you have two cats sitting there.

Well, after working 10 hour days all week, I decided to hang it up after 8 1/2 today and came home to run in the sunshine.  It was a very good decision on my part.  12 miles--42 and sunshine.  Tomorrow it's supposed to be in the 50's.

I feel bad for all of who are injured.  Whenever I have to take off from running, it seems like everywhere I go, somebody is running.  It almost hurts to see them and know that I can't go home and go out myself.  But, I will say, that I enjoy coming in here and reading about everybody else's runs.  This place makes me feel like I'm still part of a group and, for some reason, makes me feel better.

Okay--I should get going.  Good luck to everybody racing this weekend...

Hey, wild--you should do something special for Twocat's birthday...

Editor’s note to tet:* you’re just lucky DD wasn’t there

at the pool with you and the kids or she’d be adding,

“be sure to cinch up your waistband extra tight

when you have three kids climbing all over you.”

                .
Editor note’s 2 to tet:* just because you think you’ve been getting away with $10 Jockey brand substitutes for $100 tri-trunks over the years and now, just because GS was the only one to comment on it, don’t think he was the only one to notice you were wearing black flannel pj’s you got for $5.99 instead of the more expensive Nike black sweats across the aisle in the men’s section. Just hope GS doesn’t tell DD. Are you crazy? Think about what you’re teaching GS.
