Just turned 59. This coming week is 18 weeks out from my goal race and I was thinking of using Hanson’s advanced plan, but was curious about other masters favorite plan.
I used Hanson’s beginner last year, followed it pretty faithfully, but marathon race day was pretty warm and despite feeling in pretty good shape, I didn’t feel I had the endurance I should have. Was considering a Pfitz plan. Gave looked at Higdon too. The FIRST plan is on my shelf but I can’t do that much speed work.
