The Shirtless Wonder
Photo of me returning to ship, the Norwegian Star, after training 4+ mile training run on Bermuda. So much for me obeying local island ordinances about wearing shirt off the beach.

Nulla camisia et nulla problematum
The last time I appeared in public like that, Joe, the villagers chased me with pitch forks and torches.

queen's birthday when the country celebrates in orange!
Photos from our trip to Amsterdam and Netherlands. the flower pictures do not capture the hyacinths and their odor and the overwhelming beauty of the colors of acres of tulips, daffodils, hyacinths in bloom. all the windmills, mean LOTS of wind when you bike and run

The tall mountain in the back is Mt LeConte in the Smoky Mountains. I enjoy hiking up to that mountain a couple times each year.

Beautiful pictures!
We were fortunate to be able to go to Prague a few years ago and were absolutely stunned at the architecture, cathedrals, etc. Prague was never bombed during WWII, so the city is full of buildings that are hundreds of years old. This is one of my favorite photos that I took. I thrilled it came out so well.

DW And I saved for a cruise for quite some time. Finally, we went at the end for January.
As of the 2010 census, the town we've lived in had a population of 697.
The ship we were on had a crew of 668 and has 1,600 guest. We had a few things to get used to.
We left Miami. We stopped in Key West, Roatan Honduras, Belize City and Cozumel, Mexico.
The ship had a library and I found a book.
We tried a new food every day.
I could get cozy in Key West.
We zip line through the forest in Honduras.
There was hiking on trails we were not familiar with.
Michelle made a new friend.
There was a little song and dance. A two hundred and fifty million cruise ship couldn't put good batteries in the damn mike.
We went tubing in caves.
The guide warned us that the water was cold. It's not Lake Superior cold and was quite nice.
He also warned us about piranhas. I told him that you just have to tickle them under the chin and they fall asleep. I was more worried about the Wholly Cave Sharks.
The guide invited us to get out of the inner tubes. I was the only one who did.
Snorkeling in Mexico was the highlight.
The beach was nice too.

DW rented a house for week in Kissimmee FL.
There were 17 of us for 8 days.
It was so loud and there was never a dull moment.
