I'm so looking forward to the trip.

Thanks again srlopez for the input and watching out for us.

ah.... well... I know monkey better than most races. This will be my 5th (out of 7 total), though there's a very big chance I will take the 15m monkey dnf.

Having just obtained my SD's GPS device, I am now ready to hit the town in Nashville, confident I can find my way back to the hotel.....

Steve - email me at holly s 4874 at yahoo dot com if you want to exchange cellphone nos.  Wildchild arrives at 2:50, then we will hit the packet pick up, check in the hotel, and then work out dinner plans.  Keep in touch...

Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

          MM#209 / JapanJoyful#803

            quiet sounds from the pavement
            running steadfastly strong,
            You will never give in.
            In the sunshine
            Golden leaves whisper sweet songs
While the road winds up and along.

            Running up those long hills,
            making memories to stay
of your day in the sun
            If you know me,
            You'll understand what happiness is
            And why . . . I love to run.

Henry the Great: "I'm going to keep running as long as I can."  Me too, I hope.

            T. Igarashi (top of Mt. Fuji at age 100 in 1987): "Enjoy yourself. Your younger days never come again."
