No plan, just a regular ole week Smile

40 miles exactly. Recovery week, but I wanted to nail 40.

SUB - The marathon kicked my tail also.By mile 3, my socks were soaked with sweat. I was worried about sever blisters.  Once the race was over though, it turned out beautiful. We then spent day at Hollywood studios/.

          Thanks, Holly!

Great job on the Disney Dopey, Dennis! The marathon by itself just about killed me (heat and humidity training don't happen in Minnesota this time of year). Finishing was my major concern, and I felt lucky to make it before cramps in my quads would've stopped me in my tracks. I could not have done the 3 prior events AND finished the marathon on Sunday. Kudos to you!

Congrats on Mississippi, Mike! You are amazing!

Congrats on a blazing fast mile, Rob! And good luck in Int'l Falls!

Wow, Sub, you're right back at it.  Where's the next one?

I wish I was heading up north, HermosaBoy.  Good luck!

Wow, Sub, you're right back at it.  Where's the next one?

Yeah, if I did things right, Disney was just a LONG training run as part of a build-up to a late spring race, possibly the Lake Wobegon Trail Marathon in early May. I am also signed up for Grandma's, so I'm hoping that I do well in one of those races.

What's next up for you, Mike? I suppose a Minnesota marathon is out of the question, at least until you finish your 50-state quest, is that about right?

Should be interesting -- forecasted temperatures are a bit less than optimal for racing...

I ran 40 miles this week, for the first time in nearly 2 years. Also ran a 12.5 k race today, and it was my first race since last May. Pretty happy with both accomplishments.
