My second--and final--week as your self-appointed guest host.
For those of you who are new, this is the 40/40 thread, for people who are over 40 years old who run 40 miles/week or more. We give Free Passes to those who come really close or try really hard...
Last week's numbers (in process):

Thanks, again, Tramps! But...umm...Holly never posted our miles before the end of the week...
I'm not sure what I'm going to do about Friday's run...I have to go to an Engelbert Humperdink concert....maybe he'll call in sick like he did last time.
I sure wish Tramps would change my week's total up there...it will be nice to have Holly back...
Ahh...much better.

Thanks Tramps for carrying the thread.
This week will be a taper week for the Ft Wayne Half Marathon which I plan on running as a pacing run to see what pace I can carry for next months Columbus Marathon. Unsure how many miles I will run, but my first goal continues to be weight loss and getting off 5 - 10 more pounds before next months marathon.
Mon - Off Day
Tues - 15 miles. (Yes, I suck at tapering)
Wed - 11 miles.
Thurs - 11 miles. (Yes, I really do suck at tapering)
Fri - Off Day
Sat - Fort4Fitness Half Marathon - 13.1 miles - 1:45 - a PR for me. 6 mile recovery pace jog in evening.
Sun - 10 miles.
Total - 66 miles this week & a HM PR.
Philippians 4:13.
Thanks, Tramps. Tapering for a 5K on October 5th, so mileage will be really light this week and next. Huffing and puffing round 2 -- maybe only worthy of a silver medal.

no mystery, I'm just a regular hobby jogger. 47 years old, started running at 28, to lose weight.
steadily getting slower with age, trying to compensate for it with increased mileage, but without success.
still need to lose weight
Mon-Fri 10.2 mi (1:26, 1:23, 1:14, 1:17, 1:18)
Sat, Sun 9.7 mi (1:25, 1:29)
Total: 70 miles ( 9 hrs 31 min)
sick as a dog for most of the week. sore throat, light fever, coughing, sneezing, everything
Well, Alex, that's some serious consistency in your log. Very impressive stuff.
