I am going to do a 3k on April 29. Probably do a 3k time trial tomorrow to get an idea of how fast I can do. If I am going to crash and burn, then I would rather do that in a time trial. I will probably go for around a 6:45 pace. I have no idea what I can hold right now. I've done no speedwork.
