I was too busy yesterday to post, but had a most excellent 9.1 mile run from our house to DH's office. I like that run, it's mostly downhill or flat and not too much effort so a nice course for a good 9 mile run. Today I went out for 6 miles and DH picked me up before I had to tackle the last two miles up the hill to home. Nice.
We had a mother's day dinner here last night with my DS1 and his DW, and my MIL over for red salmon grilled on the charcoal grill, grilled veggies, salad and Alaska potatoes (need to get another bag of those, they're going fast!). Yummy. Tonight DH and I made fajitas from a Cook's Illustrated recipe. Now we're going to burn some of our last year's wood cutting in our firepit. Monday comes too soon.
Jay - Last week, DW and I found a boat abandoned on a trail. We sent pictures to the DNR. They got back to me and said the owner is from out of state.
