Resolution Run 2008 in Raleigh, NC ... good start for New Year! (Read 393 times)

Perch, Congrats on your AG award and PR. I have yet to beat my 5K PR from years ago but continue to come close. That's a great accomplishment!! I too, hate 5Ks, they are sprints or dashes and not easy at all. Chris
A bigger base and attacking hills during m-Long Runs are the biggest contributors
Thanks. A bigger base....that seems to be the common theme. I intend to build that base and attack those hills in the months/years to come! Thanks again.
Quit being so damn serious! When we change the way we look at things, the things we look at change. "Ya just gotta let it go." OM
Congrats on the PR, perchcreek! Big grin What a great way to start the year! I'm from Raleigh, too, and have been having trouble finding races that mesh with my school and work schedules. Undecided BTW, come join our little Raleigh & surrounding area group (click). It's not that busy, but it's grown a little lately. Wink

        Non-Stroller-Still Crazy

This is my first post here. I am one of the defector’s from active/CR. They just totally killed that site now that it is active. I ran the Resolution Run as well. It really was a great race. Lot’s of fun and lots of hills. Perchcreek, Great run! You were smoking that first mile. I think everyone went out a little strong down that hill. Hope to see you at the races. I am 6’4” and I usually push the kids in the jogging stroller so you will know who I am. Come say Hi. I always enjoy meeting new people at the races. Here is my race report if anyone wants to venture back to active to see it. I also have my Garmin report below. Splits: 5:22 6:51 6:36 0:39 19:30 total 5:22 12:13 18:49 19:30 Garmin Report Local news coverage.
