Thanks Holly for keeping this going...it really does help Smile - 2 weeks till taper for me... Mon - Off - Calf and leg pain Angry Tues - 7 easy miles - 8:30 pace - no calf or leg pain Smile Weds - 11.5 miles 1:27:38 7:38 ave pace....with 5K PR 19:26 6:17 ave pace. Thurs - 4 easy recovery miles - legs felt awesome Fri - 8 easy miles at near recovery pace Sat - 10 VERY CARPY Miles....suppose to do 14 with 8 at MP. Could only barely do 2 and had to stop and rest every mile after 5 miles due to high HR and nothing in the legs Confused Sun - 7 easy recovery miles Total - 47.5 - Very Disappointing and pathetic mileage week at this stage of training, except for Weds long run and 5K PR

Running has given me the courage to start, the determination to keep trying, and the childlike spirit to have fun along the way - Run often and run long, but never outrun your Joy of running!

Thank you, Holly. Doing some traveling later in the week, but still should be able to get the mileage in.

Thanks again Holly! Three weeks before my marathon and my three 20 milers are done! I'll start cutting back on the LD runs while still maintaining my base mileage. Sun 20.1 Mon Tue 10.13 Wed Thur 10.17 Fri Sat 10.18 50.5 Miles for the week on 4 runs...I'm ready for the Ridge to Bridge!

                        Upcoming Races:

                        Boston Marathon, Boston,MA 04/15/13

Thunder Road Marathon, Charlotte NC 11/13

This is a schedule in name only. Just today I decided to run the Westchester HM so my week's plan is now in chaos. The issue is whether I should do 4 EZ miles on Saturday or not. If I do then I will knock the two PM runs to 4. Any advice?
