Wishing all my RA friends a very Happy New Year!

Time to post your December miles and PRs, and also your 2009 totals and PRs. There'll be lots of awards to start out the new year!

I hope twenty-ten will bring many joyful injury-free miles to all of you, and lots of good non-running stuff in your lives as well. Thanks for a good year with a great community!

YTD miles: 2,566.8 This is a new record for me, beating last year's record by over 385 miles!

Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

I will be proud to post the first lowest monthly mileage

Dec: 98.1

YTD 1136 - a big PR for me!

Swimming YTD: 84.5

Yoga and Zumba - countless hours!

Can I also add that I ran 3 half marys this year, which is also a record for moi!

Wonderful picture Carolyn....how awesome to run through the snow like that. Here in Tennessee, we only dream of that kind of weather. Thanks for doing this. I was soooo ready for this post today!

May 2010 bring everyone new goals and dreams!

Meeting the Snow Queen and her DH at Disney
Meeting dAAve, Roch, TimLooney, DG and Batman (and BatDog) at Bayshore
Meeting Holly, Rosie and Ralph at Columbus
And of course: the Marathon PR and BQ !!!!!

I should go run down my street to even up my December mileage, but naw....I am too cozy and settled inside now.

Just happy to be back at it when last year at this time I was injured and pulling out of races.

I'm still in comeback mode and although '09 was far from my best year, it was pretty good. December was weak because I have been nursing a calf strain. It's all healed now so I am pretty excited:

December: 99.6 miles
