Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

Indianapolis Monumental Marathon is on Saturday. That will be 2 marathons in 14 days qualifying me for the marathon maniacs.
Then I can regroup and I'm making changes to training program to focus less on long, slow distance (which has helped me achieve 75 pound weight loss) and move towards higher quality training to improve upon my 3:45.06 marathon time.
M - 10 miles. 1 warmup. 4 between 8:27 - 8:06. 3 mile intervals at 7:30. And 2 miles surrounding the intervals at 9 min mile pace.
T - 10 miles. avg pace: 9:04. That counts a first mile warm-up of 10 minutes.
W - 10 miles. EZ 10:25 pace.
T - 7 miles. 1 EZ. 3 @ 9:00 pace, 2 @ 8:30 pace, 1 @ 8:00 pace.
F - Off.
S - 26.2 Miles - Indianapolis Monumental Marathon - 3:49.00 8:45 pace.
S - 9 miles Recovery pace
Total - 72.2 miles
Philippians 4:13.
Thanks, Holly

Hi Holly!
I might make 40 this week!!! It's been awhile.
Didn't quite make 40 this week. You miss a mile here and a mile there and you end up a couple short. Maybe next week.
