Thanks Gordon! Mon.... 5.6K run plus Ba/S/Bi and abs. And a nice stretch. Early this evening I'll have a sports massage Smile Tue.....Forgot to set the alarm clock, but did manage a 6.5K easy run with Spooky before work. Wed....Did abs first thing this morning. And after work, cleaned my new tile floor on hands and knees Surprised And it's still not quite clean. Just so you know what I'm doing tomorrow Tongue Thu.....Cleaning living room floor. Finally done and moved&cleaned some furniture back in. Still have to do the kitchen floor. Fri......Did half the kitchen floor after work. Bleh, I'm fed up with this cleaning stuff. Suppose it makes for a good Xtraining? Sat....8.5K run with Spooky. Lot's of sanding, cleaning and painting. Sun...no run, sigh. Lot's of DIY. And many things going wrong: little flies in the just painted window frames, woodpanelling didn't want to stick to the wall, etc. Total mileage: 20.6K, pathetic

Week is starting off pretty carpy, but it will end with me at the shore for Memorial Day weekend, so I know it'll only get better. I'm really emotionally sad and physically dragged out from the final concert with my beloved chamber choir over the weekend. Best therapy I can think of consists of (1) running and (2) getting ready for summer auditions for another semi-pro choir. I'll be singing in my head while I follow this plan for the week: Monday - rest - done Smile Tuesday - 6.5 tempo - done; longest school-night run ever Smile rediscovered my sproink! Wednesday - (3 EZ); nope; sore & tired, so stretching & stability ball instead Thursday - managed 3.1 after a looooong school trip and the night before another one; semi-sproinky; so proud that I'm not letting my stoopid 55+ hour work week mess up my running Friday - (rest/another school trip - my school choir's big adjudication) Shocked survived it! Saturday - first kayaking excursion on my beloved bay of the season Big grin Big grin 1 glorious hour on the water Sunday - 9 long and slow - done! Smile My transition-to-summer week in review: ran 18.6, including first-ever 9-miler stretch & strength 1x kayaking - 1 glorious hour Happy Almost-Summer, everyone Smile Eliz
