July '17 Masters Miles (Read 28 times)

an amazing likeness

June 2017 monthly summary posted here...

Time to post those hard-earned and masterly-run July miles, race results and running achievements. You ran and walked 'em in the heat, humidity, hills...so let's hear about 'em.

(Editor's note --> Due to poor planning by your humble editor, the June results will be a bit delayed. I'm in one place for a few days, and the laptop with the results summary is in another place.)

      Trails are hard!

A couple of more miles this month at 56.4 (How'd we do on coordination this month, Liz?).  An interesting note on the times, though.  Total time for this month was almost an hour less than the previous for that couple of more miles   Didn't feel that fast, but I guess I'll take it.

Thanks, Andy.  Sorry you missed Peak's.

Need a fast half for late fall.  Then I need to actually train for it.

Thanks, Milktruck.  I always appreciate getting an overview of folks' accomplishments.

Transition month for me as the knee forces a move away from running.

Run: 8.5 (my last for the foreseeable future )

          Hike: 30.6

          Bike: 264.6

          Be safe. Be kind.

I have not yet done my last run for the month...I can make it happen, doing the math now

            Trails Rock!

That picture pretty much sums up the weather around here the last few weeks! Great one Milktruck.

              116.9 miles for July

              711.5 YTD

Hit a new AG yesterday but no races coming up until September.

I'm at 182 miles running but the day isn't over yet!   This is a very high month for me.  I think it had lots of weekends and the longer runs fell within the month on each weekend.  (if that makes sense....)

Out there running since dinosaurs roamed the earth

                  1163.0 YTD 2017 (apparently IS a prime number: https://www.numbers.education/1163.html)

1st GrandMaster (over 50) at Afton Trail 25K on July 1st.

224.2 miles for July, 4th month in a row of 200+ and 5 months altogether over 200 so far this year. February and March killed the party though with that foot injury. Nice to be ahead of the pace bunny.

well if you would have jumped in here a bit earlier, you could have posted after me and that would have made you feel better. over twice the mileage of mine.
