i'm lovin' it... MM#1949
Really pretty scenery Carolyn!
April: 166.6 miles
YTD: 848 miles
Lower miles due to taper, marathon PW complete with a hip injury, and slow recovery (now better)
... but never missed a day of running... 987 days.. count down to a grand!
Perch's Profile "I don't know if running adds years to your life, but it definitely adds life to your years." - Jim Fixx "The secret is to make in your mind possible what was not possible before. The secret is to make easy what was difficult, instead to make difficult what really is easy." - Coach Renato Canova
an amazing likeness
146.0 for April for me, each of them a masterful gimpy mile.
(Yet again, I am shooting for the magnificent median, however I expect I'll be a bit low given everyone's miles should be up a bit with the spring running...but there is all that tapering for spring racing to counter the spring longer runs....so hmm. Kentucky windage and all...I think I'm in the ballpark.)
Acceptable at a dance, invaluable in a shipwreck.
Pretty sure I will get award for fewest......43:44 for April....
sigh....
183.2 for me.
Too much work travel. Ick.

Cecil - bummer about the stress fracture. Your "fake cross training miles" sounds like you're using my theory of running relativity! However, awards are based on actual running miles (or racewalking in Jay's case!). If I adjust for vertical feet, I would win most miles every month which wouldn't be fair to the rest of you!
Thanks, everyone!

Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."
well, since Holly added late, that means I can add late too!
51 miles in april for me.
goodness is its own reward; for more tangible outcomes, you need to try badness.

Cool. I love being average!
