I managed to step barefoot right in a pile of, well, you know.  Yuch.

For some reason, us barefoot runners are asked a lot about that but, since we have to watch where we're stepping, I always say I've never heard of anyone doing it.  Howefver, we don't run much  in the grass where it's hard to see what you're stepping on, e.g. sunken sprinkler systems, goose guano, sticks, rocks, etc.  Now I can give 'em the answer they want to hear. thanks holly.

ps - do you have green grass this time of year?

    .

mari - did you see the bug-smasher?
