February 2018 Masters Miles (Read 32 times)

an amazing likeness

While getting milk from the fridge this morning, I noticed the calendar on the wall had changed from February to March...which can only mean I'm days behind in posting the monthly miles topic. Yikes!

It is (well past) time to post those hard-earned and masterly-run February miles, race results and running achievements!

You ran, walked, cycled and swam 'em, let's hear about 'em.

Acceptable at a dance, invaluable in a shipwreck.

      Hi Milktruck,

Thanks for doing this, once again. Great snowshoe action photo!

Just 74 RW miles in Feb, with one 10-mile race that included a Milktruck meet-up and an unspectacular finish.

      Thanks,

      Jay

Thanks, milktruck! The photo is great — dying to know if #890 beat his friend #891.

          236.6 miles for February.

I DNS’d for a 55km XC ski race I do each year (the American Birkebeiner) due to a nasty cold. The cold also kept me from setting a big February mileage PR.

123.5 for me so I'll leave it to your discretion about rounding.

              80.4 miles.

              Trails Rock!

129, which is low for me.  Being sick the whole month didn’t help, but I also wasn’t doing long runs.  Short month, right?

Out there running since dinosaurs roamed the earth

I had 136.3 miles for February. This included a HM - details in the race report thread.

                  Started running at age 60.

88 - which is about as far from a good marathon block as you can be but still getting off the proverbial couch.

101.9 miles for February.   Nothing noteable - just training miles for my upcoming ultra.

Wasn't sure I would hit 100 on a short month, but was glad to do it.

                      Trails are hard!

Thougt I'd posted, but must have been last month--the time does fly!

54.4 miles for the most in quite a while.  And a short month to boot.

Need a fast half for late fall.  Then I need to actually train for it.

Thanks Milktruck. Great picture as usual!

                          115.7 miles for February

                          286.4 YTD

144 miles for February with 247 YTD ... no casual events or timed events planned as yet.

Nothing but fitness miles really at this point.

Thanks Milktruck!  Love the snow shoe pic!

163.1 Miles for February, 276 for year.  2 Half marathons in Feb, both AG wins, but sadly I appear to be slowing down...

A nice even 100 miles for me for February!! No races, but some nice, warm sunny miles in Florida at the start of the month!!
