Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."

Thank you Holly!  The accountability is appreciated.

The left knee is still hurting. I am unable to do any quality workouts, just the slow & easy runs.  I had switched to the zero drop Altra's, and I am just speculating that might be behind the injury. But I quit running in them over a month ago, and the healing has been slow.  Will continue with the slow and easy running this week...

47.4 miles this week, slow and easy seems to be the ticket.

      Philippians 4:13.

1500 goal getting closer!  Maybe I can run the El Paso Marathon in 10 weeks but long runs haven't been very long and the holiday season is on us.  Guess I'll need a free pass because I'm unsure I can make 40.

Monday..............Warm up & cool down with Plyo class............................................................done-3.7 mi.

Tuesday...a.m.: 3 mile repeats with warm up & cool down; p.m. 3.4 mi. easy group run..........done-9.8

I'll pitch in. You know, those who fail to plan, ... well, if it's Mike, he'll probably run freaky fast anyway.

BTW, Nice photo from Tahoe. And Happy Birthday!

Dennis - I have been fighting knee issues myself, my right knee being sore and I don't know why.  However, it may be shoe-related as well, since I think I pushed the mileage on the shoes I was running in.  Hope your knee clears up soon.  Winter is good for slow and easy.
