It's not jay o'clock, but it's 4 hours earlier here. leaving Reykjavik shortly for touring the south part of iceland - a beautiful country that the pics don't do justice.

We did a short run along a pedestrian path (parallel to a bike path) along the ocean. We're "freezing" here-temps in the 50's. Here on a week long tour. Food also wonderful.
Mornin' everyone.
Henry and Marj - you snuck out on us on another adventure? Good for you! The pictures look great, and so do you two - enjoy!
No time for a wrap-up and stuff today - I was up early and I'm already running (walking) late.
Last night, I went to a screening of a film on resilience (mostly of the sea level rise kind), and it was very well produced, but the message delivery left me flat. It basically said we have a problem and we have to do something about it. I think most of us already know that. Meh.
6.4 RW miles in the dark this morning in damp 61°.
Gotta go. Have a greta Tuesday!

Without ice cream there would be darkness and chaos.
Trails are hard!
They wanted to sneak out so none of their adopted kids could go with.
Need a fast half for late fall. Then I need to actually train for it.

My thoughts, exactly, stumps.
One of my dearest friends just got back from a trip to Iceland with a couple of girlfriends. We're getting together on the 23rd for dinner, so I'm looking forward to hearing her stories and seeing pics.
Mike - Sounds like he's fought the good fight. My prayers are with him.
45 min of core and upper body ST last evening. Things are feeling somewhat decent, so I am having to keep telling myself "two weeks, you said two weeks to let things calm down." *sigh*
Awake at 4:30, so I just got up and got to work by 6:00. It's nice when no one else is here, no phones ringing, etc.
Have a good one, friends ~~

3.6 this morning. Just didn't get out the door in time for the planned 4. Hard to get out of bed when a Ragdoll cat is curled up beside you!
2.2 this evening trying out some new Brooks Launch 4s on the treadmill. 5.8 for the day.
Out there running since dinosaurs roamed the earth
Love the pictures. Enjoy Iceland.
No running here. Another day of hard to breathe due to the smoke from the fires in Canada and the wilderness near by.
No running.

5 mostly dry, just a few sprinkles. Thankfully the rain front stalled over the ATL proper.

Erika - I meant to tell you that I would kill for that HM time...
Super busy at work and home with vacation ketchup and school starting and DD's golf team practices starting and such, so, fly by....
5 miles for me this morning in 59 degrees.
Life is a headlong rush into the unknown. We can hunker down and hope nothing hits us or we can stand tall, lean into the wind and say, "Bring it on, darlin', and don't be stingy with the jalapenos."
. . . . Ragdoll cat . . . .
Pictures!!
Ragdoll Cat Hawi (our youngest). He's 3 1/2.
Gorgeous!! Thanks for sharing ~~
Good afternoon all. 4 miles along the Hudson River at lunchtime. So glad I skipped yesterday, and had a really enjoyable run today with negative splits (partially due to headwind out, tailwind back). Temps here are in the mid-70's. September-like.
Good Running, all.
...great pics.......
