Leslie...  ok, but when do you really get to recover?

yep, Eliz, not like I really know, but it sounds like a long enough plan that you'll be fine!  enjoy yourself.

Monday....  I think nothing... a little pt & core stuff but not much & I forget already.  Not kidding.  isn't that sad?

Geeze, Leslie, it's not like you've been running an incredible number of miles or anything!

              Monday - ran 4, walked 1

Tuesday - school concert - DONE!!!! whoo hoo

Wednesday - school, rehearsal, drive to another rehearsal = rest (well, rest from running, anyway)

Thursday - took the day off from school to rest and get in a long run, but I feel awful, so I'm just resting

Friday - sniffle, drive too much, sing a lot; no time or energy for running

              Saturday - see Friday

Sunday - see Friday and Saturday

I'm finally admitting that there's no way, at least until next Saturday, that I can keep the commitments I made back in mid-August to others regarding singing (oh, yeah, and to my day job!) and also keep the commitments I made to myself regarding running in mid-October, and have decided to stop stressing about it and just plain enjoy the singing, which really has been a lot of fun.

I'm hoping to run tomorrow and then get back on schedule next Saturday, after five, count 'em, five more concerts.  I anticipate that I can do some catching up on running during Christmas break, after a L-O-N-G winter's nap.

Summary:  ran 4; walked 1; drove to gigs a lot; sang a lot more; slept as much as I could to try to beat this sinus infection; not a stellar week for running or XT, but good for singing

Thu.......First did yesterday's UB w/o (chest/shoulders/biceps), followed by 5K on the TM. Started out as a bad run with tired legs and really tight calfs, but ended great.

Sat.......6.5K doggie run. Spike was flyin'.....not once did I have to tug him along. He stayed ahead of me the whole time.  Added 20 min of LB floor exercises and 50min UB (back/triceps)

Sun......5K doggie run. Spike is still in running mode. After dropping Spike of at home, Spooky and I continued for another 10.18 kilometers. It's COLD: temp dropped from 10C on Friday to 0C this morning. Brrrr. At least it's sunny and dry Inside of my R-knee is hurting
