So what is everyone's plan for spring races? I thought I'd start a thread and see where all the local folks plan on making their mark this season. I'll give things a start. If it's in bold then it's a goal race that I'm really shootin for...if not, then it's subject to change at a moments notice! 1/24 - Zoo Run 5k Nashville 2/14 Pred's Fantastic 5k Nashville OR 2/14 Frostbite 1/2 Marathon Lebannon 2/28 Race Judicata 5k/10k PWP 3/7 Fall Creek Thaw 15k, Pikeville 3/14 Tom King 1/2 Marathon Nashville 3/28 Running to Beat the Blues 5k Nashville 4/25 CMM Nashville That is my plan for now. I'm going to be gunning for 4 races, and 4 PR's from 3/7 - 4/25. Hopefully that will be where I start to hit my stride. So what does everyone else have in mind? MTA: I would expect my lovely and talented wife to slide in a race around Feb...and then join me for the rest hopefully...maybe the 5k, at Tom King & the 1/2 at CMM. But we'll let her answer! Wink

Race on the Trace is a "Thunder Favorite". Love that last mile. Hate the big hill before the last mile. Go run it, if you haven't.

I'll have a very light racing schedule this spring. My wife is training for the CM Half this year, so she's running with the Fleet Feet group every Saturday morning. So I have to stay home with my son unless I get a sitter. Right now I'm planning on the following races: 2/21 PWP 11.2 Team Race (if it happens) 3/14 Tom King 5K 3/28 Running to Beat the Blues 5K 4/11 Purity 10K 4/25 CM Half 5/25 GJCC Triathlon I signed up for the GJCC tri today. I got "filled with the spirit" at the tri expo. It'll be my first tri, so the goal there is just to finish.
