I haven’t been back to Boston since the bombings in 2013. I decided before covid hit to give a go and see if I could get back. Glad I went. I picked a 2022 BQ but not likely a BQ-3:21 gets me in for 2022. If it does I will go back again.
Yes, not as crazy as Shalane Flanagan. Ran London on the 3rd and then Boston. Boston is near and dear to me because of family ties It was the last race my Dad watched me run before he passed away in 2014. 5th Boston and 2nd fastest course time, so I'm happy with that.
Good stuff! Is it weird to run Boston in the fall when obviously you are very used to it being a spring race?
