Fantastic Half!!
I enjoyed helping a friend finish her first 50k.
Awesome! I wish I had someone to get me through my first 50k.

Thanks guys. This will sound crazy but I was actually disappointed with that result - had trained really well and was hoping to be quite a bit quicker than that, but I knew after 2km that something was off and it was going to be a struggle. Turns out the whole family was sick the next day (not covid, but some sort of cold) so go figure. I was pretty frustrated at the time but I guess if you can run 1:12 on a bad day, it's not worth getting too upset over.

"CONSISTENCY IS KING"
Sorry to hear you all got sick, Mark - but that doesn't feel crazy at all to me. I had a junky half the same weekend. I can't complain about my time (especially since I beat my friends running with me) but I was disappointed to be over 6 min slower than I'd been hoping for.
Congrats on your YTD miles!!
