* Seven of eight teams were 100% or better to team mileage goal. Rapid Thigh Movement hit 151.8%.
* Five of eight teams had race mileage.
* Seven of eight teams were 80% or better in the green. Multiple teams hit 100% -- Appreci-8 Your Stride, Brave Soles and Got Run,eh?
* Three runners were between 200% and 260% to individual mileage goal. Six runners were between 150% and 200% to goal.
* No team runners posted a zero week. Good job!
* Willie O from Call the Race Director! has reached his annual goal. (I think he crossed in week 43 but I missed it in the summary). That brings us to 4 finishers for 2022 so far! Once you hit your goal, you can not go green for your team.

On the road again...
What happens if teams are tied after three weeks?
I write. I read. I run. One time, I ran a lot on my 50th birthday.

I don't think we've ever had a tie after three weeks. But once week 3 results post, the first week matchups for the first week of semis will be showing under the schedules tab. I can ask Eric what the coding says.
A run-off, of course.

Kudos to RTM. Congratulations. You put us in your target and ran us out. Now rest up and set your new target and go get it.

Is this gamesmanship or is your team conceding? The QF is total points over the 3 weeks. You go into week 3 down by 18 points but there are potentially 23 points available with the bonus points for fastest races and most miles/time. Since the race points were restored there have been multiple instances of teams gaining 18 or more points and highest was 21 points (Team MF - Week 37).

24 hour loop race?
So you're saying Brave Soles still have a chance?
I guess I misunderstood the rules. I thought it was best out of three weeks.
May be a very long shot, but not impossible. Being 21 points behind you need to win the 10 points for team percentage, 6 for green, 1 for race mileage and pick up at least 4 of the bonus points, which means having the fastest racer at at least 2 of the 4 standard distances as well as looking to have the runners with most miles and most running time.
Football analogy - you're 11 points down at the opponents' 40 with no time outs left and 20 seconds on the clock. If you get a 58-yard field goal, then recover an onside kick, execute a Hail Mary touchdown and a 2-pt conversion you get the chance to win in overtime. It can be done!
On the other hand.....if you're down 33-4, then you're done.
Shout to to my team - Rapid Thigh Movement - for absolutely killing it for the quarterfinals!! Way to go to all of the runners right now running doubles and pushing themselves to do the best they can do for their teams!
