Hi all,
Just wanted to share some really big news with this wonderfully supportive community...
1) I am engaged! My fiance proposed on the beach in Turks and Caicos this weekend. I will write more about it in a blog post soon. He did a pretty good job with the ring, if I do say so myself:
2) I am now officially a member of the Oiselle running team! I found out Thursday during my big move across Philadelphia that I was accepted as part of their "volee" team, which is their team for non-pro, average, runners/bloggers...they also have an elite team. I am over the moon about this since they are easily my favorite running brand and I believe in everything they represent. They have very high quality stuff. I will wear their race kit at my future races, and get a huge discount on their clothing in exchange for helping promote their brand. Check out their site to learn more about them:

Yay !!!! Have you zeroed in on a date yet?

Nope, I would love to do it Autumn 2014, but not sure if we'll be able to handle that financially yet since it's only about a year off. We shall see....
Why not find your dream race and make it a 'destination' wedding? That way, you can recruit pacers and a crew from your wedding party/guest list? What's that saying, two birds, one stone....
Refurbished Hip
Congrats, TnC! I agree -- he did do a great job with the ring!
Running is dumb.
Le professeur de trail
Very cool! Congrats to both.
Are you taking ideas for your wedding location?
How about during your first 100 miler? Just after? Just before? Maybe honeymoon in Leadville?
I have no clue if you have plans for a 100 miler ...just trying to be creative.
But your DH to be is big into ultimate frisbee so maybe another direction...
My favorite day of the week is RUNday
