Tiny E and DW are back- the baching officially has ended We got 4 miles in yesterday evening on a wide range of trail conditions.

Ran 5 after work yesterday, ran in the hood, dodging thunderstorms. Got back just in time. I was going to get up early this morning, but those thunderstorms were still going strong. We had a wild, stormy night. Of course now that I'm at work it's all clear. Going to meet the DW at the gyn after work, will do 40 minutes of stair climbing.

Ran 2 early this morning. It was very muggy.
I did get a call last night from my buddy who went to dinner with the president. He said it was really quite a night, and he is not at all the way he is portrayed in the media, very sharp with a profound understanding of complex issues. That may be hard to believe, but I can assure you that the guy telling me that is a person who is very sharp with a profound understanding of complex issues.
QOTD: I don't know, probably Jason Bourne. I like those movies.

LB2 - Very cool your friend got to experience that. I'd go no matter who's in office. I think it also shows the selective sound bites that are thrown out there to portray someone in a certain light (not just POTUS). And even in scripted speeches, I'd sound like a bumbling idiot (not that I claim that I'm not ).
Got 7.5 mixed trail / pavement last night. Felt good running on trail that's not drenched in snow, slush, or mud, although there's a lot of fallen tree limbs from the late winter storms. 4 easy on tap for tonight.
QOTD: Bourne is a good pick. But I'll go with Bond, James Bond. Just as long as I'm not limited to just one movie. That would be just too unfair (for more than one reason).

Wen home on my lunch hour got the dogs and ran 4.4 miles. It was 74 degrees...aka hot. Not too sure we want to wish away cool weather yet.
QOTD: Pretty Woman...I always wanted to be a hooker ...ok just kidding Eat Pray Love....would love to go to Italy and eat...current trying to learn how to mediate so I could handle the trip to India too.
