Oddly enough I was slower this year then last year but last year I actually tapered and this year I went in as my last long run prior to Oil Creek 100..so no matter it was still a great day to be in the forest!

Yea, I can have a somewhat weird sense of humor at times.
I knew you said this was your last long run so I figured that's why I was ahead of you. This was one race that I actually did a somewhat proper taper for and I think it paid off. Hope things go well at Oil Creek.
