It’s Monday here but still the weekend there.... here’s the scenario.
Colleague: mind if I run with you tomorrow morning?
Me: Sure, how about 7:30am?
C: Good see you then.
M: Ok.
C: ( via text) I might sleep in, go without me if I don’t show.
M: (via text) Ok.
7:30am... 7:35am... no show. I run 5 mi.
The thing is, today was supposed to be a SRD and my legs are just nackered. Oh well, there’s always tomorrow for that rest day.
Now eating breakfast watching Houston - Boston game 2.

I did a hike on Saturday (really a squirrel hunt with my nephew). He did get a shot on Saturday, but he missed clean. These squirrels around here are in no real danger any time soon. We found a ton of hog sign in the woods in front of my house. I think I may spend the cool time of year trying to blast one or two of them. Sunday I ran 7.5 miles after talking myself into only doing 5 miles.
QOTD: I don't run as far as I once did. I don't know if that is a "good habit", but I am feeling pretty good about not feeling compelled to run for hours on end. I'm just enjoying running.
