    Are we there, yet?

Any downed trees to clamber over or crawl under? And you don't look muddy enough in your finishing picture.  No blood and scraped knees either.

Congrats T&C!  I used to play disc golf at Tyler (prior to my trail running life), it must be a nice place to run.  Very cool to get the PR and the AG award for a race with sentimental value.  Imagine how well you would've done if you were in 50k shape

Nahh these trails are pretty tame....the "worst" of it was the four 6-8 inch stream crossings.

Thanks, Jamezilla! That thought crossed my mind several times during the race Wink

You always have the best race photos....a great big smile on your face.  It almost makes this stuff look fun!

              Thanks for sharing.

You should have been there when I ran it years ago. We had at least two trees to clamber over twice each, as well as some right-angled turns at the bottoms of steep hills. If you didn't use a tree to bounce off of and help you make the turn, you'd fly off the trail into the brush.

GReat job and congratulations on 2nd in your AG!  That's a really fast time for a trail race especially with 4 water crossings.  Really pretty pictures, and you and your friend look so happy!  I agree, it is super fun to race with friends.
