    Hey guys,

Normally I wouldn't post anything like this, but my running club hosted our annual dinner this weekend and I had the pleasure of meeting, listening to and spending some time with Jimmy Dean Freeman. He's the head coach of the SoCal Coyotes and is a great speaker to listen to about being persistent in this crazy sport we love so much.

He does a lot of speaking engagements all over the country and is great to work with. He is looking for more speaking gigs outside of being one of the keynote speakers at this years Badwater training runs. If you aren't familiar with his writing or speaking here are a couple of links

In the interest of disclosure, I have no direct affiliation with Jimmy other than I ran with him and drove him around for the better part of 2 days.

He seems like a nice guy.

I always enjoy when he is a guest on Trail Runner Nation podcasts. Seems like he is knowledgeable and fun.

He spoke at the American River 50 pasta feed last year and was great.  I too enjoy his TRN guest spots.

I took him out on the trails in Iowa where we had snow/sleet/rain/freezing all within a 24 hour time span and he loved it. He was like a kid in a candy store running in the snow
