running under the BigSky
got a great 10 miles in the hills (2400' of elevation) this morning, nice light snow the entire route
qotd: the software I use keeps track of elevation and also gives me a profile (elevation vs distance), there is no not knowing when I've climbed a bunch

Evening Trailers,
After a late start this morning I made it out to Palisades Park and did 2 loops for almost 19 miles. First time out in the microspikes. They are awesome. Really impressed with the uphill/downhill traction. Not nearly as difficult to run in as I had imagined. It was a nice run and although the miles were tough, I'm not as beat up as I would have expected. I took some pics...I'll work on getting them up in the Winter Trail Porn section later tonight.
QOTD: Nope...I try to add elevation into my runs whenever I can, but I am always worried that it's not enough so I try not to analyze it.
**Ask me about streaking**
Ultra Cowboy
Ran early marking the trail for our Training group. Jen, running ahead of me spotted this bobcat in a tree along the trail. Closest I've been to a Bobcat.
Finished the run in time to get to my Daughters' basketball games. 7.55 miles with some elevation.
