Daydreamer--So you bike raced up Evans. Very cool. That is one of the great drives in the country. Awesome!

 

 

Let's put it this way. I rode in the race, I didn't do much racing above about 11,500'.  Something about not enough oxygen up there to sustain this lowlander .  Think I finished almost last in my age bracket. The Pros and Cat 1 riders started much later then we did so I met them coming up at about 12000' on my way down. Couldn't believe how fast they were flying. The ride down was a blast and yes it is a great drive.
