Time to leave the beach. Was fun while it lasted. Nice run this morning around Assateague Island. Then sat on the beach and finished another book.

First day of school today for my boys, and apparently it went well. No call from the school, the hospital, or the police (yet).

Queen: Still sounds like a great run! Maybe the Chinese maples turn colors after the leaves have come off? You never know with these things from the other side of the world.

QOTD: Not much, still temps in the upper 80's, just a bit less humid than in the middle of summer. The thing I notice most is that the days are much shorter now. Nights are nice and cool, which, however, does not prevent my boys from still sleeping in their tent in the backyard. I really should have rented out their room over the summer, they slept in it maybe 5 nights since late May.
Run for fun.
AT- were those Zubas with the original outfit? And I think we need pics in the new outfits, please.

Time well spent on the weekend
That is a pretty good day. The only fishing I will do is in a river. I'd rather do just about anything rather than sit in a boat on a lake. I just can't stand to feel like I am stuck somewhere. But I can stay in a place like that all day.
