I'll be traveling to Seattle for work next week and again in August and September. Staying in Bellevue. Can anyone recommend some good trails to hit nearby in the evenings? I've already checked out Cougar Mountain and Tiger Mountain. Tiger mountain is awesome. I'm planning on hitting Tiger again but it's always fun to explore new trails. This will be my 3rd time to Seattle and I've never ventured downtown (which I hear is pretty cool). Any spare time I have, I head to the mountains.
I always enjoyed Seattle for it's early morning city runs, but unlike you, I was usually staying downtown. If you want a change of pace from the mountains, Discovery Park is a nice park for a sunset run. Deep woods, some fields and then the view over Puget Sound with a beach visit. You won't rack up a high mileage run, but it is quite beautiful on a summer evening.
