Any race report that has Dio lyrics sprinkled throughout is a good read to me. I'd be interested in running that 50K. People (mostly westerners) are often shocked at the amount of vertical gain that can be had on the east coast, even down South. This looks and sounds like  a truly difficult course.

 haha LB2!! Glad you liked it..I live on the east coast and I'm shocked sometimes at the amount of gain that can be had! It was the rocks tho mixed with the climbing making a nasty cocktail..oh the climbing..so much climbing!
