I am hoping I run 14 today. Bagged yesterday's run because I was not feeling it. There were a million MTB ERS at the trail head and I was in a bad mood. Broke a tooth Friday and found out it is /would cost me $800 to fix it. Root canal and a crown. I think I will just pull them all out myself and whittle me some fake ones.
Qotd: I grew up here and my parents, sister and much of my extended family is here. When I was 23 I moved to Denver (no job, didn't know anyone there) and lived there 13 years. Met myhusband there and had my kikids there then wanted to come back here. Here I am and probably stay. My parents are still in their home and I will do all I can to make sure they will be there until the end. If I had no family ties I would choose elsewhere to live.

6 miles...me and Earl out in the woods. We shoveled dirty woods chips on Saturday. My chest hurt Sunday, and today my throat is so dry. I think it's all that dirt working it's way out of my lungs.
QOTD: Nope..lived in Northern Michigan until 23, then So Cal until 43, now in Nor Cal for last 8 or so years...you do the math. Even as a child I lived in 3 different cities in MI and went to college away from home. Our ties with Cousins/grandparents wasn't as tight because it was a 4 hour drive to visit. I haven't lived near my family in 31 years and I really missed out on having that, although my in laws were a fun subsititute.
Bonus questions: Umm we own the home my husband grew up in, although we have never lived there. Does that count?

Last night I ran 3:30 x 7 intervals, or about 2.6 miles. Today I really need a SRD. I did a lot of walking over the weekend and I'm still tired from it all.
QOTD: Looks like Gator Eye wins the QOTD! I'm about 8 miles from where I grew up. I lived elsewhere in the state briefly during college. I do think about leaving sometimes and doing something different.

It is my birthday, so hopefully a lunch ride or evening ride and short run. I have a big ride planned for this Saturday and am tapering. Also, work is crazy.
QOTD: Nope. Lived in California (north and south), New York, Massachusetts, Vermont, France, Germany, Austria and now back to northern California since 2007. Would love to own my parent's house I grew up in, but my mom sold it to move down near my sister in the San Diego area.
