I've been reading the stories in "Running through the Wall", and during one's story he mentioned being a "chase packer" I believe. I know the term of the elite or lead packs and the mid-packers but I've never heard of the term chase packer, and I have tried googling but I can't find anything more on it. Has anybody else heard of this term?

Uh oh... now what?

I have heard the term "chase pack", which would be the group just behind the leaders.
