Dirty Trail Runners Weekly -- w/e 4/20 (Read 36 times)

I figured I'd try to help get the threads going again by posting this week.  Admittedly, I haven't posted here in quite a while, but since most of my runs are now on trails with the coming of spring and the time change, it'd be nice to post more in this forum...

Anyhow, the weather here in the Mid-Atlantic US has been nice and yesterday was no exception.  I got a nice 13.5 miles in on some local trails - the longest run I've ever actually done on trails.  I have to say, I enjoyed doing my long run on the dirt...  The elevation gain wasn't too rough and the soft ground and slower pace due to terrain has left me feeling pretty good today.  All in all, a nice run.

Hope lots of you have been able to get out and enjoy the trails...

Hi Daneda - I'm just heading out for 10 miles on the trail. It's been quite a low mileage week for me recovering from my trail HM last Saturday. Hopefully my legs cooperate today. It's 45F and gray out - not very inspiring - but at least it doesn't seem to be windy.

Don't make excuses for why you can't get it done.

Focus on all the reasons why you must make it happen.
